With TERA closing down last year on PC, one could think that the console version is near it’s end as well, but it seems like the veteran action-combat MMO is still being updated on consoles.

TERA players on consoles can look forward to a new patch that brings a host of exciting changes and improvements to the game. The 106 Build Update will introduce new dungeons, items, class balance changes, and bug fixes.

One of the most significant additions is the opening of several new dungeons, including Bahaar’s Sanctum, Velik’s Sanctuary (Hard), Antaroth’s Abyss (Hard), and RK-9 Kennel (Hard). There will also be reductions in equipment level gaps, rewards reorganization, and the addition of the gold-level dungeon RK-9 Kennel.

Class balance changes will affect the Reaper and Gunner classes, with adjustments to skill damage, crit power, and willpower and MP recovery rates. The fishing system has also received an upgrade, with improvements to angler’s whiskers, fish fillet, and quality fish delivery crate, among other things.

Guilds will see a reduction in the XP requirement for level-up by 50%, an increase in the number of individual player accounts, and an increase in the number of characters for guilds. Additionally, the expansion of guild passive skills will allow for up to 50 members.

The patch will also address several bugs, including issues with the Catspaw, Catnap Innerwear Exchange ticket, and weapon/armor tooltip errors. The developers have also removed Sabex Armory and Macellarius Catacombs from dungeon matching lists.

Console players can look forward to these and other changes when the 106 Build Update for TERA arrives on May 18th.

It was with a heavy heart that Gameforge announced the closure of TERA’s servers back in April, after Bluehole Studios had made the decision to stop the development of the game.

The game had its share of ups and downs, but in the end, it is always sad to see an MMORPG close down.

We wish all the TERA players out there the best and hope you can find a home in another game. If the hurt is too bad, there are always private servers.

RIP TERA (2012-2022)

Tera players can now explore the brand new Baldera area, in the Oblivion Woods in Arcadia. Baldera is accessible to level 70 players and above.

-Baldera is located in the Oblivion Woods in Arcadia. The new area can be accessed via the Ruinweald in the north of the Oblivion Woods.

-The recommended level for Baldera is 71. You should only enter once you have reached level 70.

-Baldera is home to the town of Balderon, where you’ll be able to unlock new achievements, start new adventures, and write your own heroic tale.

Update 109 also adds the Rogash’s Trail solo dungeon for the Fusion Laboratory

-Number of entries: Two times per day, three times with the Monthly Pass

-Adventure Coins: 400

-Entry level: 70

-Recommended item level: 504

The Elin Valkyrie is now available to console players in TERA along with Elin Valkyrie-related quests as patch v91.01 has been deployed.

Castani Valkyrie will get a free Race Change Voucher to change into the Elin Valkyrie should they want to.

Patch v91.01 also brings new dungeons and a bunch of fixes and changes to TERA. Full patch notes can be found here.

The TERA Console Twitter account shared a short video from the upcoming v91 Patch, showing gameplay from the Traning Ground dungeon.

The Training Ground has been available to PC players since 2019 and is meant as an advanced target dummy where players can fine-tune their skills and test their might.

Four instances have been added to TERA with the latest patch. Two completely new ones and two that are returning.

The latest update for Tera Console has added a new dungeon to the game called Dreadspire in Tempest Reach.

A content leveling system has also been introduced allowing you to earn experience by participating in four categories of play: Adventure, PvP, Hunting and Life.

Gaining levels in the categories will reward you with parcels containing a bunch of different rewards from gold to mounts.

January is going to be a busy month for Tera players, as there are quite a few events planned throughout the month.

The Better Enchantment Event is already going on, and a Quest Boost event is sceduled for next week. Below is the full list of event.

Console players can now Forsaken Island on Console, and earn a variety of different items like cosmetic items and a specially ghost pig mount.

Tera is currently running the Forgeheart event, meant to gear up players. The event will run until April 7th, so now is a good time to log into Tera and gear up.

Starting Tuesday, March 17 (10 a.m. Pacific) and continuing until Tuesday, April 7, log in every day to receive a special item, then complete dungeons to earn the Forgeheart Letters T, E, R, and A. Combine all four letters into a Forgeheart Letter Key, and you can unlock Forgeheart Jackpot boxes containing Annihilation or Dark Light Weapons suitable for your class. During week one of the event (March 17 – 23), your daily login will net you an Infinity Coin that cancels the Adventure Coin cost of any dungeons you enter for the next hour.
