The population of Wild Terra 2 has been on a steady decrease since launching into Early Access. In the beginning of 2021, right after its release, the game saw peaks of just over 1000 players on Steam, but that number has dropped to peaks of just above 5, meaning the game is mostly empty.

New Major Update has been rolled out in Wild Terra 2: New Lands. The biggest change coming with the update is a new system to handle criminal acts. “Provocateurs and murderers” will now get “Criminal” and “Outlaw” statuses which cause a death penalty where the player can risk losing items and coin upon death.

Other changes include improvements to agriculture and cooking along with new skills and changes to combat and several bug fixes.

The Wild Terra 2 devs have posted a Roadmap for 2021 on Steam with all the planned features and improvements coming to the title this year.

The roadmap is broken into Spring, Summer and Winter.

First comes improved cooking and fishing, dungeon difficulty settings, improved combat, and a few other changes this spring.

Wild Terra 2: New Lands has been released on Steam Early Access.

The isometric MMORPG was delayed for some time before finally being released, and several features that were planned did not make it into the current Early Access version. Later updates will continue to add more of these features.
