The set has more of a low-fantasy vibe to it, but still with some great details and color combinations. It also has a lot of weapon choices that are a bit more low key.

The Mythic version of Boneblade Battlegear looks great, but the Normal and Heroic matches so well with some very cool Demon Hunter Weapons.

This set gives off some strong Barbarian vibes and is a great match with one of the many bone-themed weapons available.

4. Felreaper Vestments

Match With: Song of the Fallen, Blazing Demonhilt Sword, Mindbender’s Flameblade, The Devouring Cold

Race Choice: Any

The different versions of this set aren’t that different except for the colors, and the Mythic version has a more flashy effect on the shoulders and belt. They are all great in their own right and great to use for transmog.

The heroic version with its purple cloth looks very Night Elfy, and the Mythic version (pictured below) is reminiscent of Wrath of the Lich King era looks.

Either way it’s a great set with a lot of cool fitting weapon transmogs.

3. Eternal Curator’s Garb

Match With: Sinful Aspirant’s Warglaives, Glaive of the Keepers, Exacting Mindslicer

If you are sick of bright green and want to take your Demon Hunter’s look in a different direction, the Eternal Curator’s Garb is a good choice.

This set is all about the gold, at least the Mythic version is, which results in some unique weapon combinations.

Most of the sets from the Nighthold look amazing with loads of great details, and this is no exception.

The Raid Finder, Normal and Heroic versions are cool in their own right and can be used for plenty of cool transmog, but the Mythic set brings a lot more to the table in terms of detail and the color just pops.

Every piece on this set looks fantastic. The green glow really stands out and matches with a lot of really amazing weapon transmogs.

This set looks great on Blood Elf Demon Hunters especially with its combination of that Blood Elf crimson red and the bright green colors of the Fel.

Plenty of great details as well like the skull on the belt and the horns on the shoulders, while still not looking too over the top.

Merry Christmas Azeroth (or Winter Veil I guess), and welcome back to the second part of our series where we look at transmog for the average adventurer.

Meaning that we don’t (always) pick the biggest shoulderpad or the flashiest sword. We’re also not too picky about matching colors at all times.

Kul tiran Viking Warlord

Santa isn’t the only beared fellow from the north. The Viking Warlord is as well.

For this I used a Kul Tiran, but the set looks good on all manner of races like normal Humans, Dwarves and Orcs.

This set used some great new pieces from the Shadowlands as well as a few older ones.

Zandalari Troll Gold Hunter

Gold is often used when decorating for Christmas, it is also used to decorate the entire Zandalari Empire.

You might be thinking that gold isn’t fitting for the average adventurer, but for the Zandalari gold is the only way to go.

This is the transmog I personally use on my main Hunter, and I thought it was fitting here due to the ornamental gold look.

Dwarven Shaman Winter King

This Dwarf Shaman is doing his best Christmas tree impression.

There are a ton of great simple transmog options for Dwarven Shamans, and similar sets can easily be done in other colors.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Highmountain Tauren Druid

Nothing says Christmas like a huge biped bovine dressed in red, with plenty of places to hang ornaments.

I started making this set as a joke but now I lowkey want to seriously use it on my Tauren.

For the ho-ho-horde!

World of Warcraft is filled with oversized spiked shoulderpads, glowing eyes and weapons bigger than a 1000 lb Taruen.

While that’s all fine, some players prefer a more low-fantasy and functional look.

We have picked some of our favorite transmog items for the average adventurer and paired them with full transmog sets.

The Dwarven Miner

Dwarves aren’t fancy folk, they are men of the earth and this should be reflected in their transmog.

The Dwarven miner has spent his life beneath the surface of the earth, but as the valuable minerals dried up he chose to join the surface dwellers in the search for riches through adventure.

Armed with a only pickaxe and a shovel he will fight the mightiest foes for the honor of Ironforge and of course to line his pockets with gold.

Key pieces of transmog here is the amazing belt, the shirt, helm and weapons.

The example below is a Warrior but versions can be adapted for other classes as well.

Mag’har Orc Bonehunter

Another one of Azeroths races who isn’t much in favor of fancy garbs are the Mag’har Orcs.

While the other races don silk cloth and gilded jewelry, the Mag’har opt for simpler options like bone and stone. As long as it gets the job done, right?

The Red Mage

The Red Mage is flashy and bright but still toned-down as far as a Mage Transmog goes.

No flashy effects or hovering orbs. Start with the hat and you’ll have plenty of options for the rest if you don’t like every part of the example below.

The Back Alley Cutthroat

Don’t be seen, and if you are don’t stick out. That’s the only way to enjoy a long career as a thief.

All the different shades of leather clash a bit on this Transmog, but that’s life. A Rogue’s mind is on making bank, not on matching their outfits.

Vestments of the Red Crane is a great set if you want a bit of a darker look, with dark textiles, and eerie glowing pearls on the head and shoulders.

Both the Heroic and Raid Finder Versions have a bit of an evil look to them, so I like it on Undead, except for the Helm which looks absolutely ridiculous.

8. Vestments of the Seven Sacred Seals

How To Get It: Siege of Orgrimmar

Match With: Dread Aspirant’s Gavel

Race Choice: Blood Elf or Draenei

Vestments of the Seven Sacred Seals is a sturdy-looking set with a great glowing effect and details.

This set is suitable for Monks who prefer a more traditional look, while still looking stylish and formidable in battle.

The glow of the Mythic one makes it a good fit for Blood Elf Monks. The normal version is also great at fits Draenei Monks.

7. Grandmaster’s Finery

How To Get It: Monk Legion Order Hall

Match With: Pursuit of Victory,

Race Choice: Pandaren

Grandmaster’s Finery is a regal-looking set that features ornate gold and light tones. This set is perfect for Monks who want to look like an esteemed leader and master of martial arts.

It’s a strange set, but still very much a set fitting a monk. It’s the kind of garb I would imagine a Pandaren royal or diplomat would wear.

6. Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance / Vindictive Gladiator’s Ironskin Armor

How To Get It: The Nighthold

Match With: Tracker’s Spear,

Race Choice: Any

Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance is a sleek, toned-down set with sharp lines.

A lot of the sets from The Nighthold look good on Nightborne, Void Elves, Night Elves, and Blood Elves. This set is no exception, although it really looks great on any race.

5. Battlewrap of the Hurricane’s Eye

Match With: Veil-Touched Ranseur,

Battlewrap of the Hurricane’s Eye is more of an understated transmog set, but it certainly does not lack in elegance or style.

This set features intricate details and beautiful gems that make it perfect for Monks looking to exude grace and poise in battle.

For this set, I personally prefer the Normal version. It’s understated and clean with a lot of nice little details, like the gems and feathers.

The mythic version is cool as well, especially on Orc Monks as it’s very Fel-inspired.

4. Fire-Charm Vestments

Match With: Spear of Xuen,

Race Choice: Any

Fire-Charm Vestments is an all-around nice-looking set with plenty of details and glowing effects. This set is perfect for Monks who want to look powerful and full of energy in battle.

Another great MoP-era monk set. All the versions look good, and on almost all races.

3. Battlegear of the Somber Gaze

How To Get It: Blackrock Foundry

Match With: Blackhand Doomstaff, Teebu’s Scorching Straight Sword

Battlegear of the Somber Gaze has really great textures and an amazing helmet and shoulders.

This is a set that truly looks great on Orcs and other members of the horde.

I think the Normal and Heroic versions are much cooler than the Mythic version, although the Mythic one has a pretty cool effect on the shoulders.

The Alliance version is Darkwood Sentinel’s Guise which is not nearly as good but still looks good on Night Elves and can be combined with other pieces of gear to make some really cool Night Elf Rogue Transmogs.

It almost gives off a Batman vibe, and could certainly be used to make a Batman mog.

The red gems are also a nice detail.

This set features one of my all-time favorite hunter helmets and some great shoulders.

The chains combined with the bone details just look fantastic.

All variants of the set look cool as well and can be combined with a ton of other items.

2. Tyrannical Gladiator’s Chain Armor

How To Get It: PvP Vendor

Match With: Talonclaw, Spear of the Wild Gods, Savage Bow

Race Choice: Tauren, Pandaren, Orc, Mag’har Orc

This is a set with some very cool details. From the arrows to the feathers and teeth to the little horn on the belt.

This is a good transmog set for Taurens if you ask us but works well for any Hunter that wants a primal look.

There are also plenty of good transmog weapons to match this set with.

1. Eagletalon Battlegear

How To Get It: The Nighthold

Match With: Furious Gladiator’s Longbow

Race Choice: Night Elf or Human+

This is another great set from the Nighthold.

The colors on the Eagletalon Battlegear really stand out. The Normal version’s vibrant green and gold is my personal favorite for hunters, but the Heroic version looks great as well, especially for horde characters.

The Mythic version gives off heavy Sylvanas vibes.
