Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the Blood Knight class, an exciting new addition to Diablo Immortal’s roster. This marks the first time a new class has been introduced to the popular mobile MMO since its launch last year.

The news came during the Developer Update livestream, where the Diablo development team shared a thrilling announcement trailer and gave fans a sneak peek at the Blood Knight’s gameplay.

Launching on July 13th, the Blood Knight is a dark, vampiric force of power. The class, steeped in eerie mystique, introduces a new layer of gameplay, strategy, and narrative to the Diablo Immortal experience.

As the fiery pits of Hell flare up in celebration, Diablo Immortal marks its first-year anniversary on June 2.

To commemorate this significant milestone, Blizzard Entertainment has planned a host of events including a Diablo IV Launch Celebration in collaboration with Diablo Immortal, the introduction of new Lilith-themed cosmetics, a new zone, and a new class.

Drawing inspiration from the creation of Sanctuary by Inarius and Lilith, a series of immersive events are set to unleash sin throughout the realm in early June. The Merciless Monstrosity event, Children of Lilith Battle Pass, and Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market are designed to offer a distinct and riveting experience for players while also paying homage to Sanctuary’s formidable matriarch, Lilith.

Come mid-June, players will embark on a new chapter in the Main Questline as they traverse the Ancients’ Cradle island, a refuge for reclusive inhabitants. Along with introducing a new PvP Zone Event, Side Quests, Bounties, and new enemy types, this expansion will further investigate the menacing Cult of Terror.

A brand-new class is also set to make its appearance in Diablo Immortal in July. The class, a new addition to the Diablo universe, leans towards a mid-range playstyle and wields a classic weapon type.

Blizzard Entertainment has released a new content update for Diablo Immortal, introducing the Season 13 Battle Pass and a slew of new features, game modes, and updates. Titled “Knights Penitent,” the Battle Pass offers players 40 ranks of challenges and rewards, including Legendary Gems, Crests, Hilts, and more. The update also introduces the Helliquary Gauntlet, a new mode that unlocks after defeating Catarag, the Strangling Sun on Hell Difficulty VIII. In this mode, players must defeat each Helliquary boss as quickly as possible to earn rewards and climb the Helliquary Gauntlet Leaderboard.

The Fractured Plane is a limited-time event that requires players to enter an unexplored realm of their existence, equipped only with a set of pre-selected skills for their class. Players must rely on their wits, unstable gear they find, and Chaos Coins they receive from progressing through the hordes of demons to advance through the 15-floor gauntlet. Additionally, the Shady Stock limited-time event offers players access to Yakin’s exclusive inventory of legendary items in exchange for Shady Tokens earned through daily tasks.

The update also brings class balance and legendary item adjustments, including a 15% reduction of incoming damage for the Demon Hunter, Necromancer, and Wizard classes, and the reduction of the cooldown time for various skills such as Leap and Sweep Attack. The Accursed Towers’ PvP damage bonus has been replaced with a bonus that provides a 10% increase to life in Battleground, Challenge of the Immortal, Rite of Exile, and Shadow War.

The update is now live, but players can expect server maintenance on May 9 from 5 p.m.–7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe Servers, and on May 10 from 1 a.m.–3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. The Season 13 Battle Pass will run from May 11 to June 8, with the Fractured Plane available from May 10 to May 24, and Shady Stock available from May 10 to May 17. Lastly, the Scorched Sea Limited-Time Event will run from May 17 to May 25.
