Ember Sword, the blockchain-based massively multiplayer online game (MMORPG), has released new pre-alpha gameplay footage.

The video features less than a minute of gameplay that honestly looks very bad, even for a game in pre-alpha. From what we can see in the video Ember Sword looks like a Runescape but without the charm.

Like with all Blockchain games, there are people losing their minds in the comment section thinking Ember Sword will be the next big thing (it won’t).

There is no mention of Blockchain technology in the video. Whether this means that the game is trying to distance itself from the dying Blockchain/Crypto game craze, or if they’re just not ready to show off the technology yet is unclear.
