The exploration of Elgacia offers players a fresh storyline, a new Field Boss named Israfel, Elgacia Adventurer’s Tome, wandering merchants, rapport NPCs and quests, new collectibles, titles, achievements, and more. To begin exploring Elgacia, players need to talk to ‘Solar Knight Rahel’, an NPC in Vern Castle and accept the ‘Paradise of the Dreamless’ quest.

This update also adds a new 4-player Abyssal Dungeon – Kayangel, Light’s Sanctuary. This dungeon becomes accessible after completing the Elgacia storyline and offers two levels of difficulty (Normal and Hard), with corresponding item level requirements. The harder the difficulty, the more impressive the rewards, such as the Empyrean of Contemplation and two special mounts; Silent Wings and Forbidden Wings.

A new raid event features Balthorr, who has drunk too much beer and needs to be calmed down. Players transform into a beer and work with others to soothe Balthorr. Participation in this event earns tokens that can be spent on a variety of special rewards, including new Legendary Card Packs, Pheons, cosmetics, and honing materials.

Elgacia, constructed by Regulus, is often referred to as the final paradise. Its significant landmarks include Ereonnor, the city of light built in reverence to the Gods, the blessed Hestera Garden, and the sacred Mount Phylantos. But, keep in mind, only the well-prepared should dare enter these lands— a minimum Item Level of 1460 will be required to set foot in Elgacia.

Besides the storyline, another exciting feature awaits in Elgacia. The Kayangel, Light’s Sanctuary, a 4-player Abyssal Dungeon, is now accessible once you’ve completed the Elgacia story. The dungeon features two difficulty levels— Normal and Hard— with four gates to save your progress. Normal Mode requires an Item Level of 1540+, while Hard Mode necessitates an even more robust Item Level of 1580+.

Dare to confront the challenges that lie within, and the rewards will indeed be worth the effort. Notably, one of the rewards from the harder difficulty allows upgrading of the Ancient Legion Raid gear set bonuses to level 3, and another enables upgrading Relic Ability Stones to Ancient!

Elgacia’s arrival and the Kayangel Abyssal Dungeon aren’t all that’s planned for the June update. Amazon Games is also releasing the final 25 floors of Fortunespire, along with quality of life updates, new player improvements, and new cosmetics.

The update is expected to bring a host of new features and improvements to the game, including the arrival of the Slayer Advanced Class, new story quests, and the Ebony Cube.

The Slayer is the fifth Warrior Advanced Class in the game and is a female remix of the Berserker class. Armed with a greatsword and Burst Mode, the Slayer can deal massive damage on the battlefield. Successful attacks with the Slayer fill the Fury Specialty Meter, which, when full, can trigger Burst Mode. During Burst Mode, the Slayer’s damage and movement speed greatly increase, and a Specialty skill called Bloodlust can be used to unleash powerful slashes and stabs.

In addition to the Slayer, the Ebony Cube will also be introduced in this update. It is a secretive ruin made by the Haals, an ancient race that were endowed with powers by the gods. Players can clear waves of enemies in a new activity that consolidates Boss Rush and Cube. With all the original rewards of both activities rolled into one, completing it should feel more impactful while also cutting down on the grind.

Other improvements include the return of the Event Guardians, a new backend change that allows for multiple progression events to run simultaneously, and improvements to the Knowledge Transfer and New Player Guardian Raid systems. The update also comes with a new Punika Powerpass and Hyper Express Plus (II) event, which allows players to earn Item Level 1340 gear and honing materials to quickly level up to Item Level 1460 and beyond.

The highly anticipated arrival of the Slayer in Lost Ark is set to take place on May 10, 2023. With new progression events accompanying the launch, players are expected to quickly level up their characters and experience the exciting abilities of the fifth Warrior Advanced Class.

The Slayer is a female remix of the Berserker class, a melee warrior who wields a greatsword and possesses the ability to enter Burst Mode. Successful attacks fill the Fury Specialty Meter, triggering Burst Mode where damage and movement speed are significantly increased, and a unique Specialty skill called Bloodlust can be used.

The Slayer comes with Class Engravings, including Punisher and Predator, that increase damage and critical rate, and a set of 19 Skills and two Awakening Skills that allow players to inflict damage, launch foes into the air, and create powerful slashes.

In addition to the Slayer’s release, two new progression events, Punika Powerpass and Hyper Express Plus (II), will accompany the launch until August 9. The Punika Powerpass will grant players Item Level 1340 gear, while the Hyper Express Plus (II) event will enable players to level up to Item Level 1460 and beyond by earning honing materials.

The new Engraving Support System is a feature of the Hyper Express Plus (II) event that allows players to choose four engravings to be in effect at level 3 during the event. This system will help players increase their character’s strength and progress more efficiently.

The May Update also includes Ebony Cube releases, quality of life updates, new player improvements, and special cosmetics.

Lost Ark players, get ready to celebrate Maykoko Fest, the month-long event that honors all things Mokoko. The festival will begin on May 1, 2023, and continue throughout the month, with weekly events and rewards that all players can participate in.

Maykoko Fest aims to unite the Lost Ark community by encouraging players to complete weekly goals to earn rewards. The event will kick off with the first weekly goal, which is to use three million Mokoko emotes. Players can use up to 10 emotes per day, and if the community reaches this goal, they will receive x10 Honing Shard Selection Chests, each containing x8 T3 Large Honor Shard Bags.

The second week’s goal is to complete one million Chaos Dungeon or Guardian Raid clears while wearing a Mokoko Skin. Each player who participates in the activity counts as one completion. If players achieve this goal, they will receive x10 Honor Leapstone Selection Chests, each containing x125 Honor Leapstones or x25 Great Honor Leapstones.

In the third week, players will have to complete 250,000 Legion Raids while wearing a Mokoko Skin, with each player in the activity counting as one completion. Players who achieve this goal will be rewarded with x100 Ancient Platinum Coins, which include 2M Silver and x25 Pheons.

In the fourth and final week, the goal is to create and share 150,000 Stronghold Feasts. Players who achieve this goal will be rewarded with various prizes, including Una’s Daily Task Completion, Una’s Extra Task, Legendary – Epic Card Packs, and The Gamer Moko Pet.

Amazon Games and Smilegate have announced that the “The Ebony Cube,” will arrive in just two weeks, on May 10. According to the developers, this new activity will consolidate the existing Cube and Boss Rush activities, providing players with a new and exciting challenge.

With all the original rewards of both activities rolled into one, completing the Ebony Cube should feel more impactful while also cutting down on the grind. The Ebony Cube will arrive with three levels, each with its own required item level: Forbiddance, Forbiddance 2, and Forbiddance 3. Players will need to clear waves of enemies to progress through each level, with the rewards becoming more valuable at each stage.

As the Ebony Cube will replace the existing Cube and Boss Rush activities, the developers have provided two weeks’ notice to allow players to plan ahead. Entrance ticket drop rates for the Ebony Cube will be the same as those for the old Boss Rush entrance tickets. Titles earned from the old Cube and Boss Rush activities will remain obtainable from the Ebony Cube.

Existing tickets in players’ inventories will be unusable when the update drops, so players can choose to use them ahead of time or convert them into silver or Entrance Ticket Trade Vouchers. These vouchers will allow players to select the level of Ebony Cube best suited to their item level. The conversion rates for each type of ticket vary, with some requiring silver and others requiring vouchers.

Lost Ark players have much to look forward to in the coming months as Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG released their 2023 Roadmap Part 2. The roadmap highlights new content, quality of life updates, balance tuning, and adjustments to support new and returning players.
