Scars of Honor, the upcoming MMO, has announced the live launch of its 5th test phase. This phase, now open to everyone with a Supporter or Honored account, will run until the 14th of July.

Users have been sent an email detailing the instructions and additional information on accessing this test phase. Those who haven’t yet seen it can access the phase by purchasing or upgrading to a Supporter or Honored account. Existing license holders can directly download the Beast Burst Launcher to jump into the action.

The 5th test phase boasts a range of features, including basic combat with access to Spells and Basic Attacks. Players can select from three classes: Warrior, Mage, and Priest. Two arena maps, Thallan’s Ring and Bonecrusher’s Theatre, offer battlegrounds for players to flex their fighting skills.

This phase also sees the implementation of all eight races with both male and female models. Players can now gain XP and level up to Level 10, and a new loot system has been implemented, with defeated enemies dropping loot. An online leaderboard allows players to check and flaunt their PvP score. Vendors are now available to sell and buy items. Additionally, the game now features a cosmetic Subrace Nordrim, allowing players to purchase the intimidating Viking-Type Human Subrace.

For added excitement, new features will be rolled out throughout the test phase. The Braveyard battleground will begin accepting participants later this week. Players can expect regular additions to quests and spells, as well as new VFX and animations. All bugs found will be addressed on the go by the dev team.

To participate in the test, players are required to have either a Supporter or an Honored account, which can be acquired via the Scars of Honor website.

In other exciting news from the game, the developers have released new information about one of the first-created Infernal Demons, Lord Satanyr, who became the King of the Dark Empire. Satanyr’s main interests were magic and power, and he proved himself superior to many other demons in the Dark Desert.

However, Satanyr’s interest in the Gods Wars and the Builders’ work led him to a rival, Lady Gremorah Redhorned, the most powerful witch of her time. They became partners in magic and in love and worked together to create the Soul Ring, a storage for human souls that would allow the Infernal Demons to feed and procreate without the need to leech the souls of live humans. Satanyr and Gremorah sacrificed themselves to open the Soul Ring, fusing together their essences and becoming the godlike Gremonyr, King of the Empire.

When the Humans went on a Crusade, Gremonyr saw a good opportunity to start filling the Soul Ring, and the 1st Demonic War began. The war lasted for 1000 years and ended abruptly with Queen Nepherimas purging the Humans from White Garden.

Beast Burst Entertainment has announced that they will be hosting a new test for their upcoming MMORPG, Scars of Honor, on March 14th. The test will last until the 18th and players will be able to test the new Beast Burst Launcher, the character creator, and a jump event in-game. No PvE or PvP content is available to test yet as the game is still early in development.

Scars of Honor seeks to return to the roots of the MMORPG genre, meaning a strong focus on socializing and cooperation between players, a trend that many new indie MMORPGs seem to follow as newer sandbox games are becoming more solo-oriented.

The game will cater to both PvE and PvP players. With world PvP, battlegrounds, and more on the PvP side. PvE content will feature scaling dungeons and raids, and bosses with changing mechanics amongst other features.
